Hail and wind damage

Hail and wind damage roof repair and insurance claims.

Hail comes every year in Colorado Springs. When it hits your roof, you want a local roofer who shows up, documents the damage, and stays with you through the insurance claim. We've been doing it for over 40 years.

Look for these

Signs your roof took hail.

You don't have to climb up there. These are the clues you can spot from the ground, and we'll check the roof itself for free.

  • Dents in gutters, vents, and downspouts
  • Shingles with dark spots or missing granules
  • Granules piling up where downspouts drain
  • Cracked or broken tiles
  • Dings on window screens, siding, or the AC unit

Wind damage

Signs your roof took wind.

Colorado wind can lift and tear shingles even when there is no hail.

  • Missing shingles, or shingles in the yard
  • Shingles lifted or curled at the edges
  • Loose or bent flashing and ridge caps
  • Gutters full of shingle pieces and granules
  • New leaks or water stains after a storm

How it works

How a claim works with us.

  1. 01

    Call us after the storm.

A real person answers, and we set a time to come out. If water is getting in, we tarp it 24/7.

  2. 02

    Free inspection with photos.

We document the damage and send you a written report, so you know what's there before you file.

  3. 03

    We meet your adjuster.

You file the claim. We meet the adjuster at the house and point out the damage we found.

  4. 04

    We do the work.

Once the claim is approved, we fix or replace the roof and clean up before we leave.

Watch out

Storm chasers follow the hail.

After a big storm, crews from out of state knock on doors. Some are gone before your warranty matters.

  • Out-of-state plates and no local office
  • Pressure to sign before your insurance company looks
  • Offers to cover or waive your deductible. That's against the law in Colorado.
  • No written report of the damage
  • 40+Years of family roofing
  • 1993J.R.B. registered in Colorado
  • 5,000+Roofs finished
  • A+BBB, accredited since 2016

Questions

Straight answers.

Should I call my insurance company or a roofer first?

Many people call us first for a free inspection, so they know if there's real damage before they file. Either order works.

How soon should I file a claim?

Don't wait. Policies have deadlines, and damage can get worse. Call soon after the storm.

Do you work with my insurance company?

Yes. We work with insurance companies all the time and can meet your adjuster at the house.

Can you pay my deductible?

No. In Colorado a roofer can't pay or waive your deductible. If someone offers, that's a red flag.

Should I upgrade while insurance replaces my roof?

It can be a smart time to. Ask about impact-rated shingles or a Fortified roof.
